If roles would have been reversed (you're the mob leader, chasing a few weak humans), would you have stopped to let them escape?

Well i'm an humam i may decide to do or not to do anything... the mob dont decide they follow rules...
i was very far from the mob i didn't see them in my radar but they see me...
and the last 4 living pug's in my party split up to break them... no use btw

We did that... the mob killed 1 by 1 of the last 4 in diferent areas...

Yes, the fiends. They'll chase you till end of the world. There's one group of those on each side.
It's one of those things you need to know about the place.
The problem with trapper team is, that they have no utility. If traps fail, you're done, no way to recover. The mob is rather easy to tank, and those canyons are narrow, that's why trapping teams aren't the best choice. All out dps is much better for Veil.

Update - Friday December 15
Fixed a bug that caused some monsters to remain permanently aggressive toward their targets.
Maybe that was the problem...

Monster will chase u till u dead when ur hp really low
But when u stop running , sometimes they just stop chasing and ignore u then go back
Wired AI ...
